South Dublin County PPN is delighted to invite all member organisations to our next PPN Plenary, taking place on Thursday, 17 September 2026 at The Plaza Hotel, Tallaght.
The Plenary is one of the most important events in the PPN calendar, bringing together member groups from across the Community & Voluntary, Social Inclusion, and Environmental sectors. It provides an opportunity to connect with fellow members, hear important updates, influence the work of the PPN, and have your voice heard.
What’s on the agenda?
This Plenary will include:
- Secretariat Elections – Members will have the opportunity to elect representatives to vacant Secretariat positions.
- LCDC Representative Elections – Elections will also take place for PPN representatives on the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC), providing members with the opportunity to represent the community sector at local authority level.
- Policy Ratification – Members will be asked to ratify a number of PPN policies under the areas of Finance, Participation, and General.
- PPN Updates – Hear about the latest developments, projects, and activities taking place across the network.
- Networking Opportunities – Meet and connect with community groups, volunteers, and organisations from across South Dublin County.

LCDC Representative Elections
- Community Pillar Representative
The LCDC plays a key role in planning, coordinating and supporting community development across South Dublin County. The elected PPN representative will ensure that the views and experiences of Community Pillar member organisations are represented in local decision-making.
The closing date for nominations is Friday, 4 September 2026.
