Community groups and not-for-profit organisations that are active in South Dublin County can apply to join South Dublin County Public Participation Network by completing the registration form below.

Once the form is submitted, the information provided will be reviewed by the PPN staff team. You will be contacted if any additional details or clarification are needed.

The registration process is intended to be supportive. If you are unsure about eligibility, membership type or which pillar is most appropriate for your group, guidance can be provided as part of the process.

What will South Dublin PPN do with your information?


When your group registers with South Dublin County PPN, we collect organisational and contact details so that we can:


  • keep your group informed
  • include you in consultations, meetings and events
  • support participation in PPN structures and representative processes
  • enable communication and networking between member organisations

Your information is used only for the proper operation of the PPN and in line with our Constitution, Membership Policy and Data Protection obligations.


Who may your information be shared with?


Your organisation’s details may be shared, where necessary and relevant, with:


  • other members of South Dublin County PPN, for participation, networking and representative processes
  • elected PPN representatives and the PPN Secretariat
  • the relevant PPN pillar (Community & Voluntary, Social Inclusion or Environment)
  • national PPN structures or support bodies, where relevant to PPN work

We do not share your information with commercial organisations or with anyone not involved in PPN work or community and voluntary sector activity in South Dublin County.


Personal contact details are shared only where necessary for the operation of the PPN and are not published without permission.


Emails and communications


We will use your contact details to send official PPN communications, which may include:


  • consultations and submissions
  • elections and representative processes
  • plenary meetings and linkage groups
  • governance updates and statutory notices
  • relevant events, training and PPN news

These communications are a core part of PPN membership and ensure that your organisation can fully participate in PPN activity.


We do not send commercial marketing emails, and your contact details are used only for PPN-related communications.


Publishing member information


South Dublin County PPN may publish a directory of member organisations on its website to support visibility, networking and engagement.


This may include:


  • organisation name
  • general location (for example, area or town)
  • organisation email address
  • organisation website (where provided)

We will not publish personal contact details (such as individual names, personal email addresses or phone numbers) without explicit permission.


If your organisation would prefer not to have any of the above information published, you can let us know and we will respect that request.



Your data protection rights


You have the right to:


  • access your personal data
  • have your details corrected or updated
  • request removal of your data where appropriate

Requests can be made by contacting South Dublin County PPN. We will respond in line with data protection law.

Important note on funding


Registering with South Dublin County PPN does not automatically qualify your group for grant funding.

Funding decisions are made solely by the relevant funding bodies, and the PPN has no role in those decisions.
