Dublin City University, in partnership with Dublin’s Public Participation Networks (PPNs) — Dublin City, Fingal, South Dublin and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown is delighted to launch the PPN Summer School 2026.
Taking place from May 25th to May 28th, the Summer School will offer a range of free workshops designed to support and empower PPN members in their community work, advocacy, and participation.
The programme has been developed in collaboration with PPN coordinators to provide practical and engaging learning opportunities, while also creating space for networking and shared learning between members across Dublin.
Workshop Schedule

Morning Sessions (In Person)
📍 DCU Glasnevin Campus
🕥 10:30am – 12:30pm
🍴 Light lunch provided
Evening Sessions (Online via Zoom)
💻 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Participants can choose to attend one session or multiple workshops throughout the week, with no obligation to attend the full programme.
Closing Ceremony & Networking Lunch
The Summer School will conclude on Thursday, May 28th with a Closing Ceremony & Networking Lunch, offering participants the opportunity to celebrate their involvement, connect informally with fellow members, and enjoy complimentary lunch and entertainment.
All participants attending the Summer School will receive a certificate of attendance at the closing event.
This marks the fifth year of DCU hosting the PPN Summer School, reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and strengthening collaboration with the PPN network.
