South Dublin County PPN is pleased to invite eligible community groups to an information session on the Sustainable Communities Fund: South Meath Solar, supported by Microsoft and Greencoat Renewables.
The fund is currently open for applications until 1 July 2026 and aims to support community-led projects that promote sustainability, environmental action, social inclusion, and community development.
While the fund is primarily focused on communities within the South Meath Solar catchment area, there is a small overlap with South Dublin County. As a result, groups and projects located in or primarily serving the Lucan area may be eligible to apply for funding.

This online session will provide an overview of:
- The Sustainable Communities Fund and its objectives
- Eligibility criteria and funding priorities
- The application process
- Tips for preparing a strong application
- An opportunity to ask questions
Who Should Attend?
This session is open to community, voluntary, social inclusion, and environmental groups that are interested in applying for funding.
Please note: Within South Dublin County, eligibility is limited to groups and projects located in or primarily serving the Lucan area.
