Funding for sports clubs and community organisations
The Department of Culture, Communications and Sport has published information on the 2026 Community Sport Facilities Fund (CSFF), the Government’s primary funding programme for developing sports and physical recreation facilities and purchasing non-personal sports equipment.
The fund aims to help voluntary and community organisations, sports governing bodies, local authorities, Education and Training Boards and schools develop high-quality, accessible, safe and sustainable sports facilities. It also seeks to increase participation in sport, prioritise disadvantaged communities and groups, including people with disabilities, and encourage the sharing of facilities between clubs and organisations.
Who is it for?
The fund supports eligible organisations involved in sport and physical recreation, including community and voluntary groups and sports clubs.
