The Secretariat plays an important role in supporting the effective and accountable running of South Dublin County Public Participation Network (SDC PPN).

It is made up of representatives elected from member groups, reflecting the three PPN pillars — Community, Social Inclusion and Environment — as well as different geographic areas across South Dublin County. The Secretariat supports oversight of the network’s work and helps guide priorities in line with the PPN’s purpose and values.

Working alongside the staff team, the Secretariat helps ensure that the network remains community-led, transparent and responsive to the needs of its members, while supporting meaningful participation and engagement across South Dublin County.
